Why I'm a Fan

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... the words to Kirk's songs are not only inspirational and uplifting, he says things I've really felt before. He sings about real problems that we go through and I love him because he doesn't try to clean it up or soften it; it's dirty and hard in the song just like it is in real life. But by the time you get to the end of the song, you're not even thinking about the problem anymore because you're too busy dancing and shouting and praising the Lord! I've always loved gospel music, but never felt such a familiarity and/or connection to the artist and music before Kirk. I brag that I'm your #1 fan Kirk, ever since I first heard "Stomp!" in the club! Your love for the Lord, your compassion for people, and your special gift of music has truly, TRULY changed my life. And I'm so glad I found you. Now that I'm changed, nothing can keep me away!

Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord for blessing us with Kirk Franklin! I haven't heard the new cd, YET, but I am going to get it as soon as I get off work. I'm crying tears of joy right now because it makes me feel so good to hear young people say they love the Lord. I have a 14 year old son, and it's hard keeping our kids on the right path and out of Satan's grasp (he's so busy!) Kirk, you keep doing what you're doing. Don't pay attention to the haters! We love you!
