I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... When Kirk Franklin first came on the scene, I was a freshman in high school. And EVERYBODY was singing "Why I Sing". It even learned in chorus at my school. My mother bought the CD and I decided to give him a listen. Once I did, I was hooked from then on. Kirk, regardless to what people say about him good, bad, or indifferent, is an anoited man of God. He brings the people into the Lord's very throne room on every album he puts out. And because he went through his processes of being delivered and set free, I respect him so much more for allowing God to do with his life what He willed. There are not many that will do that. Also, because Kirk foughtthe fight of his life, I am able to fight for my own life in Christ Jesus.
