I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... When I was in 6th grade i was having the worst time of my LIFE. The school was HORRIBLE and i didnt fit in. I was ( still am) the little white girl who was chunky and had acne. I didnt fit in at all and i was lonely. I always came home and closed my door so i could cry. I didnt want anyone to know i was weak because i wanted to seem strong. My parents where divorced when i was 3 and that year i had pressure from both of them. I thought no one could see my pain. I was grown up in the church but my bff stoped coming and then we moved churches. Well one day i had it. That night when my parents where asleep i got a knife. I thought cutting myself would let anger out because nothen else was working. I listened to heavy metel and hard rap ( i know a little weird). So i was going to my rock channel and 94.9 ( wich is 106.7 now) came on. SOmething inside told me not to change it. The song that was on was Brighter Day. I listened to it and i just knew that song was for me. I put away the knife after just barely cutting my self. THe next week or two i started to listen to Kirk Franklins cds. THey have gotton me through so much. Even through 7th grade ( another horrible year). THat is why i am a fan of Kirk. I love him in a christian way SOOOOO much. I recently went to c him for the 1 TIME and he TOUCHED MY HAND AND SMILED!!!!!!!!!! lol ... i dont think i would have made it if it wasnt for Kirks music. YOu should be a fan because his music WILL help you. I LOVE YOU KIRK FRANKLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ps.. my whole school ( RRMCS in NLR) knows you because they know im in love with ur music and i sing ur songs everyday. :)
