Why I'm a Fan

I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... I used to believe that I was just a cruel joke created by God that had no purpose but to be used and hurt by anyone and everyone who came in contact with me. I thought God hated me and that I meant nothing to him. All the pain from my past clouded any hope I had for the future. By time I reached my junior year in high school, I was suicidal, depressed, and a cutter. I just wanted to die and I didn't care if I went to heaven or not. I felt any place, even a fiery pit of pain, was better than what i was going through. My life became endless attempts to end my life. Then, one day my mom took us to Higher dimension. I thought it was stupid and like all the other churches i had been to, but when i walked in the choir was singing Kirk Franklin's song "Imagine Me". It changed my life. It was like that song was meant just for me and God himself was singing it. That day, I broke down. I gave my life to god and joined that church. That was two years ago. Today, I paticipate in church youth group and go to church as much as possible. I also listen to all Kirk Franklin songs, and no matter how i feel, his songs brighten my day and reminds me of how much God loves me, no matter what. So, that's why I am one of Kirk Franklin's biggest Fans. He not only saved my salvation, but he also saved my life.
