As a child of God, I have been through many things, but I got even more testimonies to counteract the negatives. Even though I am homeless right not where I am, I know that God is watching me and keeping me in this days and age where man does not care about the poor, not realizing what the Bible says about how the rich treat the poor. "The first shall be last and the last shall be first" simply means: The first in the world will be last before the thrown of God. God's knows all of our needs and he knows that by being faithful and obedient to him, we will survive.
