I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... in 1992 I practically lost everything that I held dear to my heart (family, finances, self esteem, confidence, and most importantly my purpose from God) and the ministry of Kirk Franklin was introduced to me. Since I realized the "Reason Why I Sing" I have grown in Christ with the help of Kirk's gifting from God thru his writing of songs that have touched my soul and spirit. I have been able to overcome many obstacles in my life thru growing closer to Christ, marrying an annointed women of God, attending and be an active member (Deacon) in a bible teaching annointed church, AND allowing God's power to flow thru the ministry of Kirk Franklin over the years. Words can not express how much Kirk's ministry has blessed me in the most difficult times and has touched my family even at this time. The words that are written for each song are TRULY straight from the heart of God, and they minister to the young, the old, boy, and girls. My daughter, who is in infant herself already has a connection to the music which I am so excited about.
Kirk, thank you so much for allowing God's hand to touch you to bring forth God's word and purpose for me through music. Your testimony, your example, and your life is a true testament on how I can overcome even now in my "Fight of my Life!" I will continue to keep you lifted in prayer as you serve the Lord and always remember that when it get's difficult you have made a TRUE difference in someone's life.
