The throne of grace- more than a place.
This way I came still in my state.
Haven escaped only the grave.
Shattered by life, issues and fate.
Burden by flaws and mistakes I’ve made.
Bitterness has braced this heart with frail.
If I can lay all of my pain
Worries and stains all He’ll take
And nothing remains………
Then I can break free from my weight
Taking HIS traits bask in HIS praise.
Beholding HIS face there I can stay.
No fear can play all tears will fade.
There in HIS cave no joy compares.
Exchange for GRACE my past disgrace.
Take up again HIS oath and claim.
Put in my sane HIS words that save.
My right I’ll say and not be dismay.
Courage will stay my spirit will wake.
Through all my reign HIS way I’ll proclaim.
Now HE has changed from grass to grace.
‘Cause here I exchange my shame for HIS grace.
Still in HIS place-
THE THRONE OF GRACE.
May I rather say-
THE THRONE OF CHANGE?
