I am a youth worker and i have 3 children of my own. I am now dealing with teenagers who don;t really understand why they should pray and seek God. They also have not really learned the true meaning of praise and worship. What can I do to make it understanding yet fun for them? I am also a praise and worship leader and in our area praise and worship is fairly new. Trying to introduce it to them has been a challenge, but I'm not giving up because it is much needed. Can you please help me with this also.

keep preaching to them and pray for their understanding of his word to be accepted and enhanced. God will do the rest. In the mean time continue to be an example and completely sold out to Christ.
Praising & worshiping God is powerful, because it is a declaration over your circumstances, that no matter what your going through, you will Praise (be Thankful) & worship (adore wholeheartedly) an Unseen God...he promises in his Word, that if you do this...not only will your attitude & outlook on life change, but your present circumstances also....this will be the proof your teenagers want desperately..... as they need something real & tangible. Don't underestimate them, you'll be surprised if you just tell them straight ...the Truth.

Think back to when you were a child. You probably didn't understand the full meaning of praise and worship, because I'm 25 years old, and I didn't fully understand. Just give them time, and don't give up on them, because as their minds mature, they will begin to understand. When they get older, they will begin to remember when you were teaching them these things. When they experience some real life things, they will think back on when someone was teaching them the importance of prayer! (Proverbs 22:6) " Train up a child in a way he should go, and when he is older, he shall not depart from it."
