Hi Missmelly from Australia here, I only heard Kirk Franklin for the first time late last year. Hardley anyone from Aus has heard of his music I only heard of him because I saw him on Oprah,we are a bit behind down under. ha ha. Anyway just after seeing Kirk on Oprah I then heard "Looking for You" on the local Christian radio. Lord are you trying to tell me something. Got on line and bought "Hero" and have started collecting his albums WOW!!!!This is the best Jesus music I have ever heard. I give people Kirks cds whenever the Lord tells me. Gave a sista struggling with her Christian walk "Fight of my Life"Kirks music is a ministry for the saved and unsaved so if you have trouble with witnessing to the unsaved please invest in a few extra of Kirks CDs to give to people when the Lord prompts you. Good on you Kirk for presenting real Gospel which tells people that wherever they are at or how low they are feeling God loves us and will never leave or forsake us this world is a fight but with Jesus on our side who can come against us. Wassup yall I'm Eddie from Chicago, IL. I'm 22yrs old and is a huge Kirk fan as well. I must say when he first came out, I thought he was a little bit too secular for me, but as I gotten older and started to listen to the messages in his songs, I've been hooked ever since. I'm like Ken, I don't even have to sample the cd in order to buy it, if it says Kirk I'm all over it. His latest project "The Fight Of My Life" is astounding. I love every track on it. I'm a Mime Contemporary Dancer, and with his music he pushes me to further my work in God's kingdom through dance. I say Contemporary dancer because I'm fulfilled when I can Mime and Praise/Liturgical dance the messages in Gospel songs to give people a better understanding of what the song talks about. Hi! My name is Lakesha, not Keisha but Kaysha. I'm 25 years old. I'm new to this, but I have been a fan of Kirk since I heard "Melodies From Heaven" for the first time. How many years ago was that??LOL!! Anyway. Not many artists get my attention as far as joining fan bases. Kirk got my attention when he opened up about his life in the beginning. I knew then that he was a Godsend. I've listened to his music and it has been a serious ministry in my life. He began to open up more about his life and that really made me a die- hard fan. We all have issues, and we always wanna keep silent about who we are because we are so worried about what the next man will have to say. I have had an issue with that in my past. We all have issues, we are all still going through and some of us have overcome some issues. Why not open up and be of help to those that are going through some things that we have overcome? We are not place on this earth just to live for ourselves. True we have to live our own lives, but we can hep each other. Its time out for being a haters. What is all the hating for anyway?? We all have the same Father who has everything, and if we have accepted him as our Father and acknowledge that He is the only reason for our being, then in Him, we can claim our inheritance. What I love so much about Kirk is his energy. He has so much to thank God for, as all of us do, and he uses that energy to GLORIFY GOD. A lot uf us have energy that is being put to waste because we won't use it..(OUCH!!.. that hurt a lot, I'm not exempt). I won't lie and say I've been saved all my life and I won't sit and say that it's been for a long time either. I'm a pk, but that really doesn't mean I was automatically saved at an early age. Yep.. we need to stop this generational curse that we have been living under. You know what they say about preacher's kids..Stop speaking that. It doesn't have to be true if we just start doing what the word says for us to do as parents (Proverbs 22:6) (OUCH!!! I am not exempt, got 3 boys and a lotta work to do)..Anyway, as a young mother, beginning, at the age of 17, I understand what it is to have gone through some things in life and what it means to be saved by GRACE...My issues started like wayyyyy before then, and it still took me some time to figure out that the life I was living was not the life that God had for me. I knew who God was, and I also knew what he could do, but I was ignorant to His word. I had common sense and owned two bibles, but I had not taken a moment to read either one or ask God for clarity. I went to church on a regular basis, but I stopped when I moved out on my own at 18. Luckily, it didn't take me too long to realize that I needed to go back. I started going back to church when I was 19, but at the same time, I was just "going." I still hadn't actually given my life to God. I was baptised at the age of 8, but at the time, I had no idea of the concept. When I was 21, I finally decided that I wanted to do it again. I truly accepted Christ into my life at that moment. Since then, I have been through and have seen some things that would make you really think hard about life. I never knew I would have gone through the things that I have been through. Over the past few years of my life, God has really shown up. BOI I TELL YA!! AND HE HAS REALLY SHOWN OUT!!! I am not the same! I KNOW HIM FOR MYSELF!! He has given me a new walk. My flesh is dying everyday, and the spirit is moving BIG TIME!! Satan is still busy, but I know now who my Saviour is. Wanna know more?? praise be to God. so greatful to kirk and the crew for this awesome website, its a ministry tool with a difference and i hope to link up to many saints. thank you kirk for the truth that you bring to our lives, your music is refreshingly unique, on the forefront, crosses color and style barriers without compromising the authenticity of scripture. We also appreciate the way you are always ready to support and minister to young ministers such Datruth, tye tribett and others. i was really touched by the way you were compelled to support tonex by writing a message for him on your website, not seeing him as you competitor ,but your brother. Christ said that is how the world will see that we are his children, when we love on each other.

I'm so glad to hear that Kirk is putting out a new album. I've been a fan (sister in the LORD) for many years, since his beginning to the industry. I look forward to picking up the new CD and playing it over and over and over. His music really touches a lot of people souls, despite how others may hate on him, or his adversities he's had to overcome to get to this place, FOR SUCH AS THIS!
