My wife got your lastest album as a Christmas gift to the entire family and it has truly been a hit with all of us including my 5 and 12 year old daughters. We often play and sing to it in the car while driving back and forth from school. There have also been many times when I have played it by myself and been brought to tears as it has personally touched me.

More than that, I can hear your heart's cry my brother and I thank you for the inspiration it has given to me and I know many others. I truly believe, God has annointed you on this album and that your friendship with Toby Mac is no coincidence. You have both been blessed with your recent success thanks to your submission to being true to God first and foremost which is evident in your music.

That being said, I also believe God has prepared you for "such a time as this". Which brings me to the ultimate reason I am posting this in the hopes it will get to you quickly.

As a dear brother in Christ who obviously cares deeply about His people, I would like to know if you are willing to step up your game and lend your significant God given skills and influence to to the ultimate earthly yet I believe also spiritual FIGHT in probably the biggest arena there is on the planet earth. The arena I am referring to is that of American Politics and the fight is for the traditional values I believe God Himself inspired America's founding fathers on which to to base our govenment. Values that inspired them to to realize certain TRUTHS that are self-evident...that ALL men are CREATED equal and endowed by their CREATOR with certain inallienable rights. Rights that protect the VALUE of every human life (man, woman; embryo, infant, toddler, teen, adult or geriatric; regardless of lineage, wealth, power or color of their skin!) Rights that ensure that your children, my children and the children of every American can grow up secure in their rights to LIFE, LIBERTY and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. These rights are not guaranteed but must be defended and, if necessary, fought for by those who love what they represent. Otherwise, evil will proliferate when good men and women stand by...and do nothing. I personally cannot in good faith stand by and watch our families and children (especially our young men - young Donovan for example) suffer as it seems Washington has turned a deaf ear to our cries.

Right now, I believe the eye of the storm in this fight is in the 2008 Presidential election and I also firmly believe that no candidate better represents fighting for those rights than Mike Huckabee (www.mikehuckabee.com). Furthermore, I believe the first cut on your album, "The Fight of My Life" perfectly reflects the theme of his campaign right now. In fact I think it would be GREAT if the campaign could use that cut to put together some promotional video or as part of upcomming rallys, however, I realize there are certain copyright issues out of your control that might prevent that. Regardless, if you are so led by the Holy Spirit to join this fight, I am confident the campaign would welcome your support in any way.

As you are probably aware, Mr. Huckabee's campaign has thus far been run with very limited funding and as such is very lean. Consequently, he has only gotten this far due to the efforts of grassroots volunteers like myself (small business owner) who have taken initiative on their own to garner support which I am doing in reaching out to you. I am not at all part of the Huckabee campaign staff but I do have contacts with people close to the campaign who can engage you should you express interest to get involved. Please prayerfully consider it and be obedient to however the Holy Spirit leads you.
