You truely know when a song is a classic and it ministers to the heart and not just the ears.. Although I have had the "Hero" CD since it came out... and have listened to Imagine Me, a million times. I sang the song because I liked the beat, the video was tight, and the concept was on point..BUT NEVER DID I BELIEVE IN THE SONG - I would sing the words, but in my heart I never felt like I could imagine myself as GOD see's me. I can never imagine myself (with my own insecurities) loving what I see when I look in the mirror. I never felt I was ever good enough in GOD's eyes, I never thought I was pretty enough "to man" or even myself. Hurt in the past by family and close friends (the church), I WAS DONE.. I could never IMAGINE ME in anything.

He gives us so many blessings everyday that we can't even count them all. I work with students with behavior problems. I try to tell them God loves them. I am age 53. I enjoy Kirk's messages in music. I usually listen to "THE FIGHT OF MY LIFE" on my way to school. My daughter and I seen Kirk in Concert in Huntington, West Virginia around 2002.. We both enjoyed it so much. KIRK I SURE HOPE YOU COME BACK TO WEST VIRGINIA SOON.....

I love this song...Me being a mother of little girls that just starting school and having the new friend syndrome, it helps me to let them know that no matter what people may think or say about you it's okay, God has got your back and that's all you need, and everything else falls into place. It's just that simple enough for them to understand...Now every morning, my oldest daughter wants to hear it over and over again, and she tells me "Mommy God likes us", and I say yes He does...God Bless!!!!
