Kirk Franklin Sir, Your music is so God Breathed. I am not saying that just to make you happy, but its a testimony to me. My name is Maureen Anzaye, and I am 26 years old, I have a son called George Amani, who will be turning 3 years old on September 16th. We are Kenyans are stay in Nairobi.
Why do I say that your music is God breathed? I say that because I was really going through a hard time in 2005 concerning issues about my boyfriend at that time. I finally decided to end the relationship because I felt like I was pushing God aside and putting him first. So I finally told him that we should break up because I was not going to choose him over God( I was brought up in church and got saved at a very early age) by that time I was not focusing in the worship team and also the children I was teaching on sunday noticed I was changing slowly by slowly. by then I decided to lay back a bit in church because I thought everything that could go wrong did. But that was not over, after breaking up with my boyfriend, after sometime, I found out I was expecting a baby!!!!!!!! Have you ever felt like hanging yourself or just disappearing from this face of the earth......? YAP! that is what I wanted to do. All my christian friends, scattered. It was such a lonely time, I felt like I had betrayed God and I just wanted to die, but guess what? God used you to write a song on your Hero album called IMAGINE ME that came to me at a timely hour and made me Imagine myself being free from all the hurts........ that song I have written on my bible as a reminder.

I have never been so touched and humbled. For me 2006, the year, was a defining moment and I never thought that I would live through that year. The other day, being June this year, I came across your Rebirth album, and every song from the first to the last was like spoken word to me, the words were speaking directly to my life. Infact after listening to that album over and over again, thats when I heard you were coming to Nairobi. I was so excited but disappointed at the same time because I will not have an opportunity to meet with you and for you to sign my bible,where I wrote the song.

My son and I pray for you all the time and your family too. If you have any extra time on your schedule, you can come home for a hot cup of Kenyan porridge.... its very tasty........ and also sign my bible for me.
