Joakim Arenius

I just posted about the fantastic concert in Hannover, Germany, a couple of days ago, and I have to add something else while I'm on it. There was this swedish group that opened for Kirk in Hannover. It was just unbelievable to see a group of white people get up on the stage and deliver music and testimonies that put most any american gospel artist to shame. I mean I got kind of the same overwhelming feeling as my first Kirk concert in Los Angeles 1998. It seemed like this guy, Joakim Arenius, was selected by Kirk, because he opened the door for Kirk in a way that supporting artists never do over in the states.

-- I had the chance to see Kirk in Sweden too (yeah, I know I'm one lucky gal) but once I got here (that's right folks, I'm inSweden now) I got sick. So that's why I'm in bed writing messages in this forum instead (sob).

Anyway, Joakim and Kirk worked together like brothers even though they were never on the stage at the same time, and they come from different sides of the ocean. It was just unbelieveble to watch it! I hope America will see them team up one day.

crazy love from a crazy Kirk fan
