I almost lost my life on October 19, 2007. Fellow students and I were on the way to sing at a church in Vero Beach, Florida. Instead of going to the church we ended up going to the hospital because the vehicle overturned several times. I was pinned underneath the truck for several minutes. When I opened my eyes I knew that I was hurt, but I began to pray to God and ask him not to allow me to die like that. God heard my desperate cry underneath that truck. After all was said and done I had scratches and bruises all over, I crushed my ulnar and radius in my arm, had internal bleeding, my hip was fractured in three places and the circulation in my left leg to my toes had been cut off. As a result I am now a 22 year old through the knee amputee. It gets a little difficult sometimes when I dwell on everything that I have been through. BUT GOD IS STILL GOOD. How you ask? Because a young lady came up to me one day and said, "Gwen, because of your testimony I have rededicated my life back to the Lord." With that being said I can only thank God for allowing me to be the vessel that he used to bring people back to him and give him all of the glory. (THE HEAVENS ARE REJOICING)

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A FAN OF MR. FRANKLIN (EVEN DURING THE DAYS OF "Joy...Joy... God's great Joy." During my recovery period I oftan listened to the song, "He'll Take the Pain Away." That song ministered to me everytime I listened to it. I trusted and I believed in God that he would take the pain away. Although all of the pain has not been removed, God is working on taking not just all of the physical pain away but the emotional pain that I feel as a result of everything. I love God because I know that he will use my testimony to change the lives of MILLIONS OF PEOPLE.

Just like he used "lil Ole Kirk" I know he's gonna continue to use " One legged me"
