To Mr. Kirk Franklin,

I am reading Blueprint. My husband reads it when I put it down. Today, I will buy a purse that has a pocket big enough for this book--want to carry it with me. Will be reading it over and over again. Powerful writing that reaches in and strengthens me as I go through a very tough stretch at work (yes, very tough--like people getting stress-related sicknesses and feeling suicidal it's so bad kind of tough). Thank you for going through whatever you went through to get this book out there--thank you for letting God use you to bless others.

Also--SMILE tune is helping--play it several times every day. Doing my best to be a light where I am--not add to the toxic drama and pain. So, am praying to God to feel His presence and strength no matter how bad the moment or the day.

My husband and I will be giving a copy to our family friend who struggles in many ways--drugs, jail record, divorce, money, etc....such an amazing person...pray for him please. He is a wonderful preacher, who says he thinks he will be back in the ministry someday. What a gift that would be to many. I hope your book helps him in his healing process, as it is helping me in mine.
