I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

Being that my husband and I are Native American and are not much a part of mainstream culture- we did not know much about Gospel Music before we were asked to perform with Kirk Franklin at the NAACP Image Awards. When we were first asked, we wondered how we were going to be able to do our Powwow style of dancing to Gospel Music. Before we went to meet him we listened to the song and were really surprised. The song made us want to jam! We met him and he was very respectful and very passionate about the music. Being able to perform with him is something we. my husband and I, will always cherish- it is one of those experiences in which you wish you could do it again! After the show, we went home and bought the cd, Declaration. We listen to it over again and my husband has it on his phone- in the car, our 4 year old plays it on mu husbands phone and rocks out in her carseat.
